Got a little more done on the power plant. Placed it on the layout to get an over view.

Well I was up at 3 am and on the road at 4 am for work. Got a bit more debris made when I got home, and some more out of the grey wash. Will wait till I am rested before I start to add it to the layout.  This stuff may not end up at the refinery, but it will go somewhere.

I added some debris to the layout.

Never throw anything away, it can be used to make debris. I saved all the cutouts from laser cut kits etc, and it is perfect for making sheets of plywood and beam supports. as well old pieces of track can be cut and taken apart.

I decided to start making my own debris. I am also cutting up left over track and ties, will make some piles of that as well.

Started to work on my power station again. it has been sitting like this for a year now. I went for a drive by one of our local power stations to see the lites etc. The lites are only 5 feet tall, and have a large clear lamp shade. so they give a large circular pattern. Mine are slightly different.

I added the furnace to the scene, just to see what I need to add.

Made some headway this week.

Started to add accessories and a pipe kit I had built to the layout, to get an idea of how I am going to been the edges and landscape everything to make it flow. Things will get moved around and added I am sure.

Getting the furnace finished up, The 4 LED pole lites are done. I am adding some ladders to this.

Refinery is on the layout. The big section is done.

The 4 furnace lites are done. a lot of work to make fabricated and solder everything up, inline resistors to drop voltage to 3 VDC.

Made 4 amber LED lites to go around the furnace. Going to add left over ladders and railings from the refinery kit, will require some mods to the rails.

well I glues on the top pipe rack, and added the 4 pipes to the main tower. As well I added 2 workers. I am going to have to place an order soon for accessories.
