A couple more. Will try a lighter wash or a powder to dull the cracks up a bit. They are pretty blunt, my wash was a little dark.

Finally got back into the basement. It's a slow start, at the same time I am looking to detail more areas before moving on. I started to detail the roads to look better than just all grey. Roads are tough to do and make correct.I added gravel around the gas station and along the tree line and road side. A little at a time.

Got the load out lites installed and wired up. very happy with the results.

Well I got a lot done on the load out, added all the gravel, dirt and grass etc. Will look at it and decide if I want to add anymore. Got all the lites in place, just need to get them wired up under the table. Put some of the other structures back on the layout, need to figure out where the strip lites will go?

spent the last few days etc, scratch building LED lites for my load out. I ended up making 2 types the single bulb ones don't provide enough lite, the 3 led strips do the job. Not as pretty as store bought, at the same time they can be detailed and hidden with trees etc.

I drove to the refinery on the long weekend, and looked at their load out platform like the one a am building. I looked at the lighting to see how they have it laid out. mine will be similar, but after the fact. I should have incorporated the lites in the kit as I was building it.

Added some street lites, and made some parking poles. added some people on benches

The skid steer was a white metal kit. lead actually It was fun to put together.
