March 15, 2023, 03:02:52 PM
Would someone be able to tell me the original cost of the C-19 # 345 or #346. black in colour with the flying Rio Grande on the tender. Also what would be a reasonable price to pay for one today if one could be found. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone in the 1:20.3 community have a spare road pilot for the K-27, made
by Bachmann and the the Bachmann road pilot for the C-19.
I am willing to pay for each if available.
I think I just purchased the only remaining, K-27 road pilot on the internet and need 1 more.
Thanks in advance if you can help.

Large / Screw removal
February 21, 2020, 04:38:14 PM
I am attempting to remove screws on my K-27, witch hold on the tender road switcher long steps,
under the rear coupler, witch are no long required and on the C-19, again removing the
tender switcher steps, witch are again, under the coupler, and no longer required.
My problem is removal of the tiny, little screws that hold them on, and replace with proper road steps.
I have tried using phillips #0 and the smaller #0-2 with almost not luck upon extraction of the screws
holding the steps on. Usually 2 screws per side.
Short of using a vice grip on the head of the crew, and twisting them out. witch to date is my only option,
so far, does anyone have any suggestions or instruction of how you have removed these little buggers,
and without ruining the heads of them so they can be reused to put on steps.

Large / New motive power

To the Bachmann,
Now that the D&RGW's T-12 #169 is back in service,
Is Bachmann Industries, considering, manufacturing the T-12 engine in the 1:20.3 scale.
I know all about tooling, costs etc, blah, blah, blah.
I would like an honest answer of ,
Yes we will be manufacturing it, and when.
Very seriously considering it, and that's all.
Have no intension of manufacturing it, even in the now or in the near future.
I myself and many of the 1:20.3 scale friends would like a honest answer.
Thanks in advance for your answer, relieving may of us of the unanswered question.
We your devoted customers can handle the truth.
Again Thanks Mudhen,

Large / Re: Tractive pulling power

Read your information and find it to be right on as per running my K-27's and C-19 on my outdoor railway.
With my grades I can usually run with 2 to 5 cars including caboose max.
You made me fell better about my engines tractive pulling power. They in my opinion on my layout are
running prototypically. I originally thought the engines where way under powered.
