At the TCA meet in York back in October, I stopped by the Bachmann booth and inquired about upcoming On30 Christmas cars. I was told that you might be re-releasing the eggnog car and/or the reindeer stock car.  Any updates on this?

I'm looking for the following two On30 Christmas Cars. If anyone knows of a place that still has them, please let me know:

I'm seeing conflicting images on the internet on this...Basically, I want to model the Strasburg (ex Great Western Railway) #90, a 2-10-0.  The (stock) images at this site, and others, show the headlight as being on the front of the boiler; while I've seen other images of the model on other sites (like this ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Bachamnn-Spectrum-2-10-0-Decapod-DCC-sound-N-I-B-/300485169215?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item45f64fd03f ) that show it as being on top of the boiler, as SRR 90 has it.

Which is the true placement of the headlight on this model (Bachmann p/n 84301)?

I'm about to embark on my On30 platform, but need some crossings for my track plan.  MicroEngineering doesn't have any, and I can't find any at Peco either...are there other manufacturers that make them, or will I have to handlay them?

Both my father in law and myself have this same problem w/ our Climax locos, purchased from different dealers. I purchased mine about a year ago, his was purchased just a month or so ago. 

What's happening is that after running around the track for only a couple of minutes, the driveshaft connecting the motor to the bogies is coming loose and starts spinning freely.  this is happening on both the front and rear bogies. 

we are local to philadelphia...is this something we can bring/send in for repair?

What's the preferred/best method for securing Ez Track to the table?

Just curious how fast other people's Climax locos are moving.  Mine moves at a slow but steady clip around the track (haven't measured time/distance yet).  I know the prototypes didn't have the need for speed, but I want to make sure that mine is operating as intended.  FWIW, I'm running DC only on the On30 track.

I'm looking for a bridge (specifically a covered bridge like this one) for my On30 shelf layout.  Length is an issue, so the Lionel one, at 2 feet long, is a bit too much.  Does anyone know of any other manufacturers that make shorter bridges?

I'm planning a dogbone shelf layout to include my On30 Climax, but can't find the minimum radius anywhere. Right now, the plan has 12 inch radius curves. What is the minimum radius the Climax can run on?

Any word on whether or not Bachmann will offer a Christmas car this year in On30?

from the photos of the model there, and the prototype i've seen, it's a pretty good model   now to convince the boss that i should buy one.

For a new Christmas display I'm building, I want to use EZ-track, but want to fasten it to the platform. What's the best way to do this?

Also, is there any recommended method to deaden the sound of the trains rolling over the EZ-track? I've found that the roadbed acts as a sounding board, and gets pretty noisy. My first guess is to glue the roadbed to cork, then the cork to the platform, which would take care of the first question

i've got the 2005 and 2007, but can't seem to find the On30 car for '06...what was it, and does anyone know if/where it's available?

I just set up my new Climax for the first time (running around the Xmas tree, based on a prototype in New Hampshire)...I've noticed that the motor is fairly noisy. Is this normal? 
I'm running in DC right now, w/ the MRC Railpower 1370 (http://modelrectifier.com/search/product-view.asp?ID=1291).  Does this DC power supply not provide enough power for the Climax?

I've got an HO 2-6-0 that I'd like to outfit w/ a DCC decoder (sound not needed, but it'd be a nice bonus...i won't lose sleep over it though).  Does anyone have any suggestions?
