HO / Ready to Mount Couplers
May 20, 2010, 04:00:40 PM
I am trying to use some Kadee #502 Bettendorf Trucks with ready-to-mount couplers.  Am having a very hard time in getting the "inside black centering spring" installed.  Clumsy me, I guess.  Does anyone have a "trick-of-the-trade" for this installation.  Thanks.

HO / Spectrum HO 2-10-2
May 18, 2010, 02:45:32 PM
Bachman has a Spectrum HO 2-10-2 DCC with Tsunami sound.  It says that the decoders are dual mode and will work on DC.  My question is, will the sound work on DC as well?

Has anyone used Caboose Industries ground throws with Bachmann EZ turnouts?  If so how were they installed?

Thanks,

HO / country dirt or gravel roads
November 12, 2009, 04:12:56 PM
Does anyone have any helpful hints as to modeling country roads.  They would be dirt or gravel.  Not much wider than one lane.

Thanks,

Has anyone downloaded the ebook, "Model Train Help", by Anderson?  If so, was it worth the $40?

HO / Installing EZ Ni/Ag #5 or #6 turnouts
July 06, 2009, 09:39:58 AM
Is there a trick to installing these turnouts.  It seems to me that you have to shave some of the roadbed to allow the attachment of track.  Any help will be appreciated.

HO / painting and using ballast with E-Z track
April 17, 2009, 09:40:04 AM
For those of you that use Ni/Silver E-Z track.  Do you paint the plastic base?
If so, what paint do you use?  Do you ballast the track?  If so, what product
do you use?  Thanks

HO / Passenger set Pullman green
April 15, 2009, 11:29:06 PM
Bachmann Spectrum #89525 is an HO heavyweight 4 car passenger set in Pullman green.  What is the minimum radius for E-Z track that these cars could use in a reasonable operation?  Thanks, whm2255.
