Exactly why we don't need another, less useful DCC system.
I'm sorry but can you please elaborate? (AKA) explain what you mean?

I think you guys are missing the point. I'm saying that their can be a controller that looks like the Lionel legend but wont need the 3rail use. it will look like the legend and have the same actions as the legind but WILL NOT NEED THE 3 RAIL for this.

I think I'll stick with my Digitrax, thank you.  It can run up to 128 trains all at once on the same track, any scale, one rail, two rail or three rail, operate lights, animation, up to 12 sounds, turnouts, set up routes, and so forth.  It can do this using plug in throttles, by computer, or even over the internet.  Why would I be interested in down grading?

With all due respect, why not buy an inexpensive EZ Command system and have fun including sounds? Of course I've never been one to beat a dead horse.  LOL

My wife has a Bachmann On30 Roaring Ridge, it looks and runs great on our HO layout. I want to add DCC with sound, but my wife says "Leave it alone".  :D

However, she really likes our EZ Command, so she may change her mind someday.
LOL I'm sure my wife will be like that all don't touch this don't touch that maby theirs a way to convince her to use DCC?

Yuck, 3 rail. I don't get what's so amazing about this system but I doubt it's better than our ho scale systems. Oh and this is an ho discussion board so no more lionel.
I think you guys are miseing the point. Im saying that ther can be a controler that looks like the lionel legend but wont need the 3rail useg. it will look like the legend and have the same actions as the legind but WILL NOT NEED THE 3 RAIL for this.

HO / Re: lionel legend as bachmen dcc?

I know that on my digitrax system it has an n-ho-o and g scale switch  which means o scale runs on a higher voltage than ho and could possibly damage your locomotives. But as for whether the decoders will work I would say yes because as for dcc decoders and systems between scales, they should all run together.
so whute your saying is that the lionel controler will work on bachmen ho scale trains?

Hay guys! I am new to the modeling with trains but have a starter set.

If you want I wanna tell you all a lil bout myself. I got an HO SCALE UP train set for Christmas 2008(thanks grandma!) and have tried to start with a small layout. I was carried to Bachman by their wonderful products and website features.

Well that's it for now!
