Could the pre-rebuild Henry be built using the Gordon bodyshell and Henry Tender? In other words, the pre-rebuild Henry can use the bodyshell of the Bachmann Gordon painted green along with basically modifying the cab roof by filing it down a bit along with adding the green wheels used for Henry along with his face, etc.

Ain't gonna happen.  Bachmann doesn't wanna spend the extra time and money redesigning an already-existing product.  If you want a pre-Kipper Henry, I'm sure you can modify an existing Bachmann Henry yourself.

yeah buy a gordon model paint green and put the henry face on it

That is exactly what he was saying, if you read his post correctly. 

I am more than certain it can be done, I am currently measuring mine up for a future video covering this.
