I've a 4x8 train board for n gauge trains. I have two locomotives, 2 ovals and 2 DC CONTROLLERS. I bought two crossover switches so I could run trains on both ovals but not sure that is actually something I can do now as mine aren't able to run on DCC.   Is there a way to individually control either track sections or locomotives to make that work?

You'll need to use seperate #6 switches to make your crossovers in order to create the gaps needed to isolate the two loops. The 'all in one' crossover was designed for DCC layouts only, with no provision for isolating to two sides for us on DC layouts.
