Very excited for the N scale Diesel! He will be a day one purchase for sure. I'm not too sure if I'm going to get Paxton too; I'll have to see how the range does in the coming years and who else they announce in the future.

Bulgy looks all right. He's the only character who actually benefited from the extra details that were hastily added to the characters in Season 23 (particularly the rivets). I already own a Bandai TECS Bulgy with some appropriate modifications, so I may stick with that one, but this could be a nice alternative for those who don't have a Bulgy model on their layout.

So tonight's reveals were the updated China Clay load for the wagon, along with the fully painted samples of Bulgy, N Scale Diesel and Paxton. I will definitely pick up N Scale Diesel, but may or may not get Paxton right away. As for N scale Henry, there's last minute changes being made for him, but we should see his first unpainted sample by August. HO Scale Flying Scotsman is coming along, and should be revealed by the end of the year. We may actually see samples of HO Scale Sidney and Mainland Diesel in the July stream, as those will be there any day. Looks like the next reveal will be HO Scale Sidney and Mainland Diesel. HO Scale Salty will be returning in 2027 with no further delays.

Duncan hasn't been forgotten, but when Bachmann does revisit Duncan, they will try to make him based on Douglas, so that Douglas could be made from his tooling to make it worth it; appealing to both Thomas and non-Thomas fans.

Maybe at some point, Bulgy could also be made in his green livery, as a mobile vegetable stand. Then we'd have two versions available. As Bulgy would say, "Down with railways!"

Though I missed the stream, I was impressed to finally see n-scale Diesel's painted example. I'm not certain about Paxton since he's a copy of Diesel with a different face and paint scheme. It appears all of the 2023 NMRA products have their models completed. To quote Matt, n-scale Henry's unpainted sample could be revealed at some point during the summer season after some minor fixes. Definitely excited to see Henry's model and possibly Edward and/or Duck's announcement for the NMRA train show in August. I include both as the backlog is being cleared for potential new projects.

My opinion of Bulgy is mixed due to the lack of interior design.

All of the painted samples from the stream looked great! I'm especially impressed with the N scale diesels, and the new color for the China clay load is a massive improvement. Also, it's great to hear that Duncan isn't fully off the table and that Bachmann is trying to figure out a way to bring him to market. Fingers crossed 🤞
