I see there is a Bachmann VHS maintenance tape listed on E-Bay. Since VHS has kind of gone away with the dinosaurs wouldn't it be nice if our hosts were to make this file available for no charge on their web site? I'll bet there are thousands of engines out there that have received little to no maintenance but would benefit greatly from a well-placed bit of lubrication or tweaking. Yes, You-Tube has articles about doing some of this, but it would be nice to get the official procedures from the manufacturer itself. I don't know if this tape covers all scales, steam and/or diesel but some information would be better than none.

So how about it Bachmann? An inexpensive project on your part that would make us very happy and further extend the lives of these precious engines.

We have some of our old maintenance tapes uploaded to our Youtube channel. Can you clarify or link to which tape you were interested in seeing? Then we can check if we already have it uploaded. If not, we still have some old copies that we can look into making digital transfers of.
