Will there be any future replacement trucks available from Bachmann of the Shay trucks? If not, does anyone know where to get replacements? I read somewhere that the NWSL replacement gears are a real bear to install. As much as I've read about the splitting gears, someone has found a source... I hope...

I am only aware of Bachmann and Northwest Short Line; as far as I know there is not any other company. And as far as Bachmann making a replacement; it is a possibility, but it would likely be several years down the road.

I received an email from Cynthia Ashby in the Bachmann parts department. They have a repair kit to fix all 3 trucks for $30.
