I would, but there are several reasons I couldn't.  :-\

1. Money is tight now.

2. What I do have I am using for my layout.

3. I was act- oops, I'll talk about that later. For now it's a secret.  ;)

Maybe soon though.  :-\

I am always willing to help the best way I can. :)

Shawn

Those reasons are why I am asking!  It's fine.  Your layout comes before me.  Of course;)

ANYONE ELSE?!

Shawn

I have come up with some criterion for what the character voices will sound like,  here it is.

All other speaking engines I want to sound like the UK VOICE ACTORS!

Murdoch: Northern accent, yorkshire accent ,

Donald and Douglas:  Glaswegian accents.

Duncan:  Irish accent

Rusty:  west country accent.

      -Shawn

PS:  I might not need a sir Hayden (sir Handel) kit.  Kits I do need tho arr Talyllyn (Skarloey). Edward-Thomas(Peter Sam; with geisl ejector),  Dolgoch (Rheneas) ,  Douglas (Duncan) and Midlander (rusty) I might scratch build him tho, for CGI accuracy;)

And can someone tell me what chassis I need for them?  I know where to find out, but I am kind of lazy :P

Skarloey, Duncan, and Peter Sam, you might want a Dapol 14xx chassis. Rheneas is a mystery to me. There really aren't any RTR locos with only 4 drivers and THAT long of a wheelbase. You could probably modify a Graham Farish 57xx chassis so that it only has 4 drivers.

EDIT:

Also, if by some miracle of God you manage to catch him online, ask Jack (Churchill8F). He does A LOT of 009 modeling.

^LOL ;D

Moving on,

££££££££££££££££££££££££!!

But Thank you for that.  How much are those models? I guess they are pricey!  And with those would I need to make my own outside cylinder rods?

Still, ££££££££££!

Shawn

Just for everyones info, even if in-accurate,  I will make my narrow guage sets double tracked...to keed it CGI acurate!

Duncan:  Irish accent
Duncan is a Scottish engine, so would you actually prefer a Scottish accent or do you still want an Irish one?

Shawn

That would be good,  but I don't want too many northern/scotish accents,  and peter sam is irish.

But I might just have what the actor can do best!  then again,  Murdoch was built in crewe or swindon,  so maybe a west country accent would be good for him,  freeing up a northern accent for Duncan!  IDK,  but I hope T&F:RB! will be good, and with the people behind it with me,  it will be one of the best on the network!

Actually, Peter Sam is English. He was built in Stoke-in-Trent in 1920.

Shawn

I know Peter Sam is English,  but I want him to have a similar voice to the CGI series;)

Anthony P2

well...... Peter Sam has a Welsh ascent in the CGI series.

Shawn

it sounds irish to me, :o but as long as my actor replicates it, I don't care :)

Here's a link to the kits to build Duncan and Rheneas scroll down to where it says "Douglas" for Duncan & "Dolgoch" for Rheneas.http://www.parksidedundas.co.uk/acatalog/White_Metal_Loco_Body_Kits.html

And as for Peter Sam and Sir Handel scroll to where it says "Edward Thomas" for Peter Sam & Sir Haydn for Sir Handel.

For Skarloey Scroll down to where it says Talyllyn

If you plan to order them they don't come with motored chassis. You can buy suitable chassis from N-drive productions.

Hope this helps.

Don't forget that Donal' & Douggie are Scottish, too... :P
Thomas + Bachmann = the True Thomas Experience.

Shawn

Thanks Toby, But I might do the skarloey episode in CGI (via trainz).  I of course, know that Dolal' and Douggie are Scottish.  I have requested Glaswegian accents for them;)
