First off I'm new at this so I really have no knowledge. I purchased the Bachmann 44212 Power Pack w/Speed Controller N/HO/On30 Transformer because it was recommended by someone in the UK that's motorizing an OO scale london underground train for me. The packaging states there is a universal track power wire but all i see is the red EZ track power wire. I'd need something since I'm using a PECO track that requires two wires, am I missing something?

Thanks for you understanding and patients!

You could just cut the end off that plugs into EZ-Trac, seperate the wires, and strip the ends to use with whatever track you've got.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

That sounds like an option. Since both of those are red I wonder if it matters which wire goes to which side of the track?

Nope.  Hooked up one way, the loco travels clockwise.  Hooked up the other way, counterclockwise.

If you are in DC and  the train runs the wrong way, just switch the wires.
