E60CP won't run and overloads power pack

Problem as described in subject. This is the Phase III model (roadnumber 974, item 65503) from about 10 years ago. I'll have had it for about 8 years next month.

And what a bad time for this engine to act up, I was thinking about buying a second E60 or a GG-1. Now, I'm thinking the Proto Metroliner might be a better fit for my railroad.

check for a short.  one of the trucks got turned around. Check to see if the motor will turn. Don't just sat it will not run.  there is a reason that it does not run.
