Regarding Thomas's Snowplow (Holiday Set Question)

I noticed that in the recently released Holiday set, Thomas comes with a snowplow on his front buffers. Looking at the picture, it seems as though it can be removed. As I have not yet seen the set in stores, I cannot be sure about this. Can it be removed (does it click off or something), or is it attached (leaving me to cut it off)?

Yeah, you can remove it. You have to have a special Thomas though (aka the one in the set).
