my layout is DCC and the my loco will cope on the reverse loop with auto reverser installed , also of note the reverser is coping with 2 loop's .

I have checked mine and it looks like there is a slot for screwdriver in the screw on the fly crank , but it looks like the fly crank and screw head and crank pin is one piece moulded base metal

why Bachman did you not put tyres on the second axle , as these are not connected to the valve gear ?

help needed to find a close coupler for Bachmann DCC A & B units , the EZ coupler box is held between the split frame .

I have a rake of 4 and they will go around Bachmann train set curves (2nd radius / 11 inch ).
I have not tried them on 9 inch curves .  hope this helps .

I have heard reports of Detol / brake fluid / oven cleaner and Model Strip (or other brand of paint stripper).
in the past I have used mineral brake fluid it removers paint after a long soak , but you can end up with the plastic becoming soft whilst soaking - so its a case of washing well in soapy water .
as for the other's I cant say or recommend .

a Canadian Pacific 'Royal Hudson' would be nice , or a proper Canadian 'F' unit and passenger stock .

(the Flying Scotsman in full USA trim would be nice )

would it be possible to re-motor using a 'F' unit as doner chassis suitably modified ?

Mark , its probably the assembly line personal that 'licks' their fingers to pick up the small parts

Bachmann did a 2-8-0 some time ago , not decoder fitted .
