It's definitely possible. Duck, Donald, and Douglas will all most likely use the same chassis or use Diesel's which ever is closer.

Thomas & Friends / Re: Have you noticed...

Well I forget who said it but the engines have dumbed down so they can be relatable for kids. Duck, Oliver, Donald, Douglas, BoCo, Fergus, Stepney, and Duke....they're all wise characters we can relate to...but we aren't the target on the Thomas corporation has in mind...basically if you're over 8 they don't care as much. Although I will go against myself saying Bertie...who is somewhat wiser....had a role in season 15. I think the only way we can have a "wise" character is if a Thomas, Percy, Charlie, Bill&Ben(which i don't get..if they were so kiddish arguing in a brotherly way why are they gone?) etc was doing something like going to fast, or being carless and a Duck, BoCo, etc was the one to say Be careful, don't, and be an antagonist in that sense. But to go against myself even farther I'd say those are the episodes that we dislike most. CONSTANT REPEATION. We need change maybe have a wise character learn a thing or 2 from a young one. I may be getting off topic here but T&F needs to be about telling stories again..not teaching lessons (although the stories did teach lessons just not so obviously). Overall I think if we get new owners, new directors, and old characters we will be happy and kids will be happy as long if Thomas appears along side...as for who is returning I wouldn't mind seeing any of the characters I mentioned.
I think we can all agree.

General Discussion / Re: Make up your own Railroad?
February 06, 2012, 09:01:18 PM
I know my layout isn't gunna be as big and fancy as most of you who love this...but
With my layout I have 2 main lines, a shed w/ turntable, and my layout is based off of strictly Pennsylvania engines.
I have my PA K4 (pre War), with 3 replica Strasburg Railroad passenger coaches.
A cheap dockside switcher with some generic Pa coaches.
And 3 PA diesels and multiple box cars, coal cars, etc.
I know most of you may say go back to T&F kid and stop with the short post but I'm just putting my word in.

Maybe watch some darker themed thomas vids on youtube, thats where I get my inspiration for:
ep8: The Day The Railway Stood Still (final title)
ep9: The Story Of The Lightning Engine (working title, Cody The Lightning Engine used with JD41796's permission)
ep10: D-day (working title)
Second sounds like a cool story bro only prob is that can ya name some characters? Like Spencer is bad who else...???
