HO / Re: I have a FT Headlight question

I just wired the head light to the "Back" lighting, so as to have it on in either direction I switched to.
Hope this helps.

You could use "Quick" connects.  The modular clubs use them for their modules to connect with any other module.

It is a EMD SD80MAC.

Try this place.  They have a great selection, and are VERY helpful.

Mine does.  It is the Spectrum model, on the last run.    I do not know about the one "On the water."

DO save ALL transformers you get.  IF or WHEN you convert to a DCC system, they are great for lighting features.  Some turnouts also use transformer power to operate the "switch".  I made the mistake of throwing my extra ones away...  Then I had to buy more :-[

Jim,
Yes I had thought of just "Doing it again" to another unit.  It would be CHEAPER, to purchase the DCC-On-Board one from Trainworld.  I paid more for the old unit, (not including the decoder price)  than they advertise the NEW one...  Without the work!!

Yes!  They run superbly!!  I love the unit.  It is a great yard switcher.  Currently it is pulling my Xmas cars with Santa and ALL his reindeer!!

HO / Spectrum 0-6-0 saddle tank with DCC-on-Board

Has anyone purchased one of these engines?  I have the DCC ready one, that I installed a DZ123 decoder into.  It runs fantastic, and would like another!!

Are there any pros, or cons that I need to know?  I want to ask Santa for one!  Does it have a decoder W/8 pin connector, or have a "board" type one?
Thanks for the help!!

I can only find a 90", and a 130' one while searching...  Where did you get the 120' one, Gene?

jdmike,
I would install a CURVED turnout on the loop, at the left side.  That way you could use it as a passing track; also.  Just make sure it is not too close to the original area.

They are available in 3 packs on EBAY.  They run 1.79 a pack....  Even with shipping, it is still cheaper on Ebay....
