On30 / Re: Dynamis wireless receiver item #36509
January 01, 2013, 11:39:31 AM
That's what I am thinking but it says right on the box, "for use with the EZ Command Pro Box and the Dynamis DCC System (Item No. 36505). What do you think, Mr Bachmann?

On30 / Dynamis wireless receiver item #36509
January 01, 2013, 01:28:53 AM
I bought a Dynamis wireless receiver item #36509 to extend the range for my handset.  It says that it can be used with the regular system (#36505), I don't have the pro box).  How does the wireless receiver hook up to my existing system?  I have the extension cable but no directions came with the unit and I don't understand how to hook it up.

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

On30 / 2-8-0 Leading trucks coming off track
January 20, 2009, 02:24:34 PM
Mr Bachman: I'm having trouble with my new 2-8-0 leading trucks coming off the track as it is coming around a curve and coming over a switch.  I have cleaned the track and the switch is closing fully.  Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jim

On30 / Jerking at slow speeds on new 2-8-0
January 06, 2009, 09:39:19 AM
Mr. Bach-man, can you tell me what might be the problem with this new loco jerking at slow speeds.  We did some light oiling and ran it with no cars for awhile at various speeds and didn't find any improvement.  We hooked the DCC wires up between the loco and the tender even though we are not using the DCC at the present time.  Should that have any effect?

On30 / Jerking motion on new 2-8-0
January 05, 2009, 09:38:19 PM
We just put our new 2-8-0 DCC on the track for the first time and we noticed that at slow speeds it didn't run smooth and jerked.  We made sure the track was clean and used conductive oil to assure contact.  All of our other Bachmann engines run smooth at slow speeds

I would like to know what this could be...Thanks...Jim

On30 / On30 K-27
September 23, 2007, 05:28:47 PM
We noticed that there is going to be a K-27 coming out in Large scale and it looks nice just like the ones that we rode in Colorado.  Or maybe they were K-36's.  Anyway, the Large scale K-27 looks good in Large scale.  When is Bachman going to bring out one in On30?  Thanks, Clayton

On30 / coupler problems
September 23, 2007, 05:02:38 PM
We bought additional cars to go with our On30 DRGW set and there is an height difference from the old and new cars whiches causes the cars to come uphooked.  We know how to lower the coupler by adding shims (washers) and longer screws but how do you make the coupler higher?  We only want to correct the ones that are different and not all the other cars.
