i would love little items for the HO scale layouts. Buildings can be expensive but detail parts sound wonderful.

Agreed. At the very least, UK styled buffers and signals would be good. I doubt buildings would be made, though snap-fit kits would probably be the best route if they did, and if we got some, I'd like to see Ffarquhar station as one.
Praying for a Thomas x Transformers collaboration.

I'd imagine if Bachmann were to produce UK buffer stops, they'd be attached to a section of EZ Track like their existing track bumpers are. As long as they're removable to use on standard track, I'll be happy.

As for signals, I think it'd be a good idea if Bachmann started with a single one and a junction signal (two separate signals for two tracks on the same post). I would certainly be happy with those to start with. They could later expand with distant signals and other variations. These would also appeal to British Railway modelers that live in the US- not only Thomas fans.

I really think Railway infrastructure is a good way to go . Especially now that we have the human figures . As for some new buildings that would either be a snap together or plastic or whatever. I suggest a coal hopper fuel depot. Possibly a carriage shed or Sodor shipping co building . Maybe some cargo just for the background like some barrels. Or what about a boat or more cranes .
But those are just kind of my ideas I don't know if all of them would be feasible if any of them could be . I think when it comes in terms to buildings they could just bring back what they had at one point . Maybe make them all universally fit on one platform type that you sell separately to reduce cost.

I think set of products that need to be made are loads that can be purchased without having to be from a piece of rolling stock. Here some suggestions for some load packs that Bachmann could release.

For 7 Plank Wagons:
Ore Loads (Like the ones from that Thomas set)
Gravel Loads (They would be a repaint of the coal load)
Crates covered with a tarpaulins
Rock Loads
Scrap Loads (So they can be used for the Sodor Scrap Wagon)
Uncovered crate loads
Milk Churns
Hay with Tarpaulins
Rubbish Loads
Parcel Loads

For 5 Plank Wagons:

Coal Loads along with the other loads I suggested for the 7 Plank Wagons, but they would all have to new sculpts since the 5 Plank Wagon tooling like the one used for Troublesome Truck 4 is skinnier than the 7 Plank Wagon tooling

For the Flatbed:

Steel Girders
The Chinese Dragon
Crates
Pipes
Paint Drums (That would be a good way to reintroduce the loads)

I found the model brands of Trevor the traction engine the brand is ERTL the 1st design of Trevor in his green paint and the 2nd design in his scrap paint from the episode Saved From Scrap BoCo the metropolitan vicar's diesel-electric type 2 is in his model design ERTL there was discussion about releasing him back in 2013 I remember looking at the posts and comments about him because he was in the original series 2 1986 episode Saved From Scrap all the way through to series 6 2002 CGI I remember buying the brand when I was a kid I still have the brand ERTL and I thought maybe this could be something interesting to mark 40 years next year since series 2 of Thomas and Friends came out on television however if you like the brand as well as the character and would like to see Bachmann release both models of Trevor in HO scale in the future in please let me know thanks

Here is the link to the Sodor CCT Utility Vans the first one with 4 four wheels was seen in Hornby used as a luggage van the second with eight wheels was used in series 1 1984 episode The Flying Kipper https://www.deviantart.com/culdeefan4/art/Sodor-CCT-Utility-Vans-598358270

I know that I have talked a lot about if Bachmann were to re-tool the entire HO/OO scale Thomas and Friends Range, but what if Bachmann were to add a Next18 pin DCC socket to every character locomotive in standard gauge, or narrow gauge. I picked a Next18 pin DCC socket because it has contacts for a sound speaker to be connected, that way, there are sound fitted versions of the characters available. Also if Bachmann were to add pre fitted lights to every character locomotive in standard or narrow gauge, (like the lighting inside the cab, a flickering firebox, head lamps and tail lamps.) that would elevate the Thomas and Friends HO/OO Scale range to a new standard. The only novelty that Bachmann should keep for the Standard Gauge Thomas and Friends range in HO/OO scale is the moving eye mechanism.

The only issue is adding lights and upgrading every model to include a DCC socket would bump up the already steep prices of these models. If Bachmann were to go back and do any retooling, it absolutely has to be Thomas, Percy, and James from the ground up. They simply do not hold up to the very screen accurate newer additions like Rosie, Rebecca, Ryan, and Stanley.

I'll gladly take a few years of no new locomotive characters if it means we get newly tooled Thomas, Percy, and James.
