Item # 89451, 12 wheeler..would this tender be suitable to attach to Spectrum # 58157, Northern 4-8-4. Regards  Peanuts

well, to start things off, what do you mean by "attach"? it could mean colour, size, knuckle couplers, or... not. describe?

 If you want to take advantage of the all wheel pickup on the tender, you will need to wire it up to the loco as the 4-8-4 Northern does not have a drawbar post suitable for the live drawbar that the tender comes with. You will have to create a drawbar for the tender to match up with the loco.

It can be done but it is not a Tab A - Slot B sort of opperation.
