Hi All,
        Just a question about an issue that has me baffled. I've got a Bachman K4-6-2 DCC onboard engine. Has been working really well for the past 6 years. Lately i've found a voltage drop eveytime i start her up. The drop remains and increases as i increase the throttle. Track voltage is 14V. Drops to 12V at 1/4th throttle to 1/2 throttle. Drops to 10V at full throttle. This is with about 8 rolling stock and by itself as well. Any ideas? I have lubed all the gears,rods and wheels. Thanks.

Does anyone use the NCE D13SR or the D13SRJ decoder? I have seen them online for a very good price. One of the specifications says Torque compensation. Is it the same as back EMF? Thanks.

Hi Can anybody tell me how to test a decoder and reset it.
Basic Lenz decoder put in the Bachmann Loco's.
I am not sure if it works. Don't want to test it in a Loco as it might burn out the motor. If it does work i want to reset it back to #3 as i cannot remember the address i had assigned it earlier. Thanks.

Does anybody have the IHC 2-8-2 Mikado? I have seen it for a good price on Model Train Stuff. Would like to know if it has a brass flywheel and how good a performer it is. Thanks.

Hi, i have the MRC Express controller. It presently has a 1.6 amp power supply. Can i add the MRC 3.5 amp booster? Will the MRC 3.5 amp booster increase my total amperage to 4.6 amps if used together with my existing power supply? Thanks.

Hi, i have the MRC Prodigy Express. I cannot change the loco address in spite of following the steps given. It tells us how to change the functions of the decoder but not the address. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

Hello there, just bought a spectrum 4-8-2. And installed a MRC decoder in it. I have read somewhere that i have to cut a yellow capacitor to get good speed control or something like that. But i see there are two. I have the DCC ready Spectrum. Thanks.

hi, can anyone tell me where i can buy just the gear on the drive wheels of the 2-8-0? Bachmann does not sell the gear but the whole drive assembly for 18 bucks plus shipping. If there is a cheaper solution some words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, My 2-8-0 decoder gets hot enough to feel through the tender body after about 5 minutes of running. Speed control is really poor. Loco starts moving only after half throttle on the Bachmann EZ Command. Keeps speeding and slowing down irregularly. Wheels are clean, track is clean and other locos don't behave like this. Loco motor is not hot as i cannot feel any heat through the body of the loco. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there guys, does anyone own the Bachmann 5A power booster. If you do could you tell me the weight of it. I have to ship it all the way to India so i don't want to end up spending more on the shipping than the cost of the booster. Furthermore, do any of you electronic wizards know of a way to make something to help boost the amps to the track. Thanks.

Hello there, just a quick question to all the electronic guru's out there. I was wondering what the voltage given out by the bachmann decoder is for the forward and rear headlight. i used a multimeter and found it to be 16V DC. Is that possible? the LED that came with my 2-10-2 tneder blew up and after a few minutes the bulb in the forward of the engine blew. if any of you guys have some suggestions i would be very appreciative. thanks.
