the magnet (if included in set) is self adhesive to under a piece of track (in desired position) to aid auto uncoupling - to remind you of position on the layout a railroad figure is included with magnet (accessory set from bachmann catalogue No 78998 ) the man is then stuck on the layout next to magnet/track . to uncouple  simply stop the train with coupler next to railroad worker and should uncouple cars ( )
cars couple up automatic on touch .

the included controle for  set's usually is 44212 - same as 44211 but with outlet socket for accessories (turnouts/signal's etc)
another wall wart may work ? (just for turnout use)

hi mfs1220 , you could safely buy another couple of car's , also may be a turnout / switch point and a few extra bits of track , to make running and switching trains more interesting

hi , just received my light mountain it runs on DCC , but the sound is out of sync with the speed and motion - is there a list of cv's for customizing ?

not sure on this - but do DC only work with decoder set on DCC No 3 (factory loco No) ?

have pre ordered a track cleaning car in N scale , but that said I am still awaiting a 4-8-2 mountain in Southern green - come on Bachmann UK  your dealer is awaiting delivery for a 'getting' impatient customer 

the wire used by the 12 volt DC and DCC Command control are the same wire that connect to Bachmann EZ track . in N and HO scale . cant help with other scales .
